Super Space Jumper
This is the final build of my 3D Platformer Game, Super Space Jumper. Make your way through a dangerous space station full of enemies and escape by collecting the gem at the end of each level! Do you have what it takes to get out alive?
The Following Modifications Have Been Added:
1. Three unique levels. Each level features different designs, props, and enemy layouts. Level 1 starts as an introductory level to get a feel for the game (same as tutorial), Level 2 [image 1] ramps the challenge up a bit by adding more enemies and platforming elements, and Level 3 [image 2] puts the player's skills to the test with a boss battle.
2. Modified particle effects. The enemy death effects are more colorful, have more dramatic animations, and contain more densely packed particles [image 2]. The player jump animation has been changed to disperse particles in a taller, more defined conical shape and the particles themselves have been recolored to orange as if the player is jumping using rocket boots [image 4]. Lastly, a new projectile was added for the boss which is a modified version of the enemy projectile that is larger, stronger, and elliptical in shape. Its color has been changed to a vibrant blue. It must also be noted that because of the larger size of the projectile, it moves at a slower speed than the normal one [image 3].
3. Final Boss. In Level 3, your skills as a platforming astronaut are put to the test. You face off against Big Eye, a large version of the ground shooter enemy with more health and the ability to fire the new boss projectile which has increased damage. The arena utilizes platforming elements to create a challenging and interactive boss fight. There is a key at the top of the room that requires the player to scale the platforms while avoiding the boss's attacks. Slaying Big Eye makes it a lot easier to obtain the key.
